Q. Does the Lowdown Shifter Mount System fit on a block/square material?
A. No currently it doesn't. It is specifically designed to fit Tubular Construction.
The most common material found in driving seats, chairs & Simulators. However, if there is a demand why not contact us.
If the response demands this then anything is achievable.
Q. What else can I use the Interfaces for?
A. Due to the material used it offers a platform for an Activity Camera, Gopro or other. And other recording devices.
We have seen the Cup Holder used with the use of a Lazy Straw. What's a lazy straw you may ask? A really long straw. Apparently it saves You from MOVING but totally quenches your thirst.
Their may be others that you discover, if so let us know.
Q. The Lowdown Shifter Mount is still loose what do I do?
A. Firstly have you followed the instructions in full? Have you used the correct rubbers in combination? Was you left with a slight gap in Between the 2 x parts of the clamp when fully tightened? These are the common causes.
If you feel the Mount is providing inadequate grip strength SIMPLY change the internal rubber reducers accordingly.
Try mixing or matching the rubber reducers & try again. Failing all please let us know.
Q. I've tried everything you have advised but I still cannot get the mount on?
A. Our mount system is specifically for 20mm to 35mm Tubular Construction ONLY
There is a larger mount available The MEGA Mount 25mm to 50mm. If you feel you have the wrong mount for your sized Tubing please get In contact within 14 days of purchase & we will work together as a team to provide a solution.
Q. The Interface appears to be turning?
A. Have you perhaps missed a fixing component out? Is there a rubber washer placed between the Lowdown Shifter Mount & the Shifter Disc? Does the fixings need tightening/re-tightening?
Have you installed the Anti-Twist System in the Interface? Go through as advised, in most cases a quick tighten up usually will do the trick. Use the designed Anti-Twist System.
